ENSO COLLECTION: Wearable Art
People's Choice Award at Denver Fashion Week Maximalism, Nov. 2025.
People's Choice Award at House of GOCA, UCCS Galleries at Ent Center for the Arts, Feb. 2025.
The Body as Architecture
Inspired by the spatial theories of Oskar Schlemmer, this collection rejects the structure of traditional clothing, made with mulberry paper and bamboo. Here, the forms do not follow human anatomy; instead, the body adapts to the geometry of the work. The pieces are conceived as moving sculptures that transform the individual into an architectural volume in motion.
Art in the Streets Fashion is the vehicle that brings art out of the gallery and into the public sphere. The design is not a static object; it is a process that is only completed when the person models and activates it. In this intersection between rigid structure and human movement, the work achieves its true dimension.
Kabuki and Enso Influence
The collection integrates the visual disruption of Kabuki with the concept of Enso (the circle). The result is a series of pieces that defy the conventional silhouette, utilizing light and void to redefine the body's presence within the urban environment.
